Current Scientific Research within the Southern California Bight

The Southern California Bight Elasmobranch Consortium is comprised of many institutions both in the USA and in Mexico. This is vital for bi-national management of the elasmobranch species that reside within the Southern California Bight.

To the right you will find links to specific pages as well as a summary of personnel and research that is being conducted by the Consortium within the Bight.

Below is a mini-documentary by Andy Nosal (Graham Lab), which briefly describes the research of Dan Cartamil (Graham Lab) as it relates to the mission of the Southern California Bight Elasmobranch Consortium.
